Can we park on site? Yes, there is ample parking on site at Box End Park.
How many runners can enter the race? We have a strict limit of runners. Please enter early, you get a discount and knowing how many runners are entering allows us to make the event even better for you. PLEASE NOTE: we will monitor the capacity of our event over the coming weeks to ensure we adhere to government guidelines.
How do I enter? Enter here, and fill in your details.
Is there an age limit? To enter as an individual you must be 17 years of age.
Will race numbers be posted out? Race packs will not be posted out and must be collected in person from the venue. Registration will be open on the Saturday before the event (date TBA) between 11am and 1.00pm, and on the morning of the event (date TBA) between 7.45am and 8.30am.
Is the race chip timed? Yes, the timing chip is state of the art and located in your race number. No need to tie anything to your running shoes!
Covid 19 precautions? We will be asking our entrants and spectators to observe social distancing as much as possible. All entrants will be asked to show proof of a lateral flow negative test on the morning of the event.
Ill or injured? If you are unwell, for your own safety please do not run the race. The individual events are very demanding and you could cause yourself long term health problems if you run while unwell.
Is the event suitable for wheelchair users? The terrain is grass and trail and sadly does not lend itself to wheelchair use.
I can’t run on the day, can I get a refund? We are unable to offer refunds due to the entry money being used to fund the venue, medals and more. You can, in advance, transfer your number to a friend, but arranging finance transfer will be down to you. Alternatively, you can defer your place, at no extra cost, to the following year. This must be done no later than 7 days before race day. Please note, you can only defer your place once.
Do I need to be fit to enter this event? If you enter the event, you must have trained and be fit.
What time should I arrive at the venue? We recommend all competitors collect their race numbers on Saturday 17th July between 11:00 and 13:00. If you are unable to do this then registration will open at 07:45 on race day. We suggest you arrive between 07:45 and 08:00 to ensure you have time to collect your number and familiarise yourself with the surroundings and use the loo!
When will we get the results? Results will be live and available as soon as the race is finished.
Prizes – The prizes will be given out within an hour of the last 5K finishing.
